Position Description: The Prosper Data & Grants Manager works with the Prosper Data Team and Prosper Program Managers to manage data systems for all Prosper Programs, including Health Coverage, Tax Help, and Financial Wellness. They also oversee the management of multiple federal, state, local and private grants, ensuring that program and grant spending is in line with program and grant budgets.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities Data Management
Oversee the development and maintenance of data collection tools (e.g., intake forms, tracking sheets, sign-in sheets, feedback surveys, etc.) used by the prosper programs
Analyze data to evaluate program and client outcomes
Create reports, charts, and graphs as needed for internal and external stakeholders
Grant Management
Review grant reporting schedule for the Prosper Programs and share it with all relevant Prosper Programs staff
Coordinate with the Grants and Contract Manager and Prosper Program Managers to prepare reports for funders and ensure all grant reports and invoicing is completed on time
Train Prosper Program staff on grant and reporting requirements to ensure compliance
Help to analyze budgets and financial reports to ensure grant and program spending is on track
Help to monitor and project grant and program spending and work with program staff to adjust spending as needed
Protect confidential client and personnel information
Maintain an understanding of all Prosper Programs
Minimum Requirements
Five (5) years’ experience with data collection, analysis, and grant reporting
Extremely detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Strong communication skills (written and interpersonal)
Proficiency using standard office computer programs and databases, including high level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Ability to work in a team while also handling individual day-to-day responsibilities independently
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and organize significant amounts of data and information
Critical thinker and problem-solver
Able to collaborate and communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
Preferred Experience
Experience with data systems in use by Prosper Programs: REDCap, Efforts to Outcomes (ETO), Tax Slayer, Acuity and Day Smart
Working Conditions General office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.
Physical Requirements Requires sitting or standing at a desk for long periods of time indoors. Eye and hand coordination for viewing of monitor screen and multiple reports along with high volume of keyboard use.
Compensation $60,000
