JOB SUMMARY The Propagation technician (PT) is responsible for carrying out the day-to-day assignments and tasks of the medical Cannabis production cycle with a focus in propagation and vegetative phases but not limited to. Aid in carrying out daily crop related tasks such as: General plant care, fertigation, de-leafing and skirting, cloning, transplanting, repopulating, plant training, data input and tracking, cleaning, sanitizing, and more as directed by management. Responsibilities:
Execute day-to-day assignments in coordination with grow operations and cultivation practices from seed to harvest including but not limited to general plant care, transplanting, training plants, cloning, fertigation, cleaning and sanitizing, data Input, and scouting.
Adheres to all SOP’s, compliance, and safety standards.
Maintain open communication with the management team and other co-workers.
Plant monitoring and care focusing on the beginning stages of the plant’s life cycle. (i.e., Plant Maintenance, Canopy Health, Proper Fertigation, Scouting for pest/disease, etc.)
Maintain a clean, sanitary, safe, and bio-secure work environment.
Maintain and ensure proper storage and sanitation of all tools and equipment, including but not limited to shop vacs, pumps, hoses, carts, scissors, stools, totes, gloves, rags, and PPE gear.
Other projects/tasks, as requested by direct manager.
Must be willing and able to occasionally work a flexible schedule as the business needs demand, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.

Qualifications:
Horticulture experience. (Preferred)
A high school diploma or GED is required.
Hard worker and team player.
Must understand and follow rules, regulations, policies, and procedures set forth by the state and company.
Able to follow and adhere to a complex production and harvest schedule in a fast-paced environment.
Show skills in analyzing potential problems with plant health or the product being processed.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Subject to background check per state cannabis regulations.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
Ability to stand (8) hours and work in a variety of environments comfortably.
This position requires a great deal of squatting, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift objects on a regular basis, and perform daily repetitive tasks.
This position requires the extended and repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers to cut/manipulate small objects.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lb.
Handling and mixing of chemicals: pesticides, fungicides, and sanitizers.
