Location: This job is on site at our facility in Hinesburg, VT
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 5AM – 4:30PM
Compensation: Salary based position starting from $65,000 based on experience
Job Summary: As the Production Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for guiding team members, managing processes, and collaborating across departments to achieve targeted goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production management and be skilled in critical thinking, decision-making, and effective communication. Responsibilities: Lead and Manage Production Teams
Assess staffing needs and manage resources to maximize output.
Participate in hiring process to recruit new talent aligned with company values and technical skills.
Onboard new hires with mentorship, safety, and technical training.
Lead regular team meetings on goals, recognition, challenges, and improvement.
Build team communication, decision-making, and critical thinking skills.
Guide teams toward goals with feedback and performance reviews.
Communicate effectively with team members, leaders, and peers.
Lead and Manage Production Processes
Ensure quality and efficiency across all production stages, focusing on safety, quality, cost, and service; create and implement improvement plans.
Drive continuous process improvement and report progress to the team.
Manage safety protocols and address safety issues promptly.
Set daily production goals and coordinate with team members.
Assess and coordinate training needs, integrating quality and safety standards.
Support production scheduling and complete required documentation on time.
Collaborate with outside contractors on plant projects.
Qualifications:
Associate or bachelor's degree preferred, or commensurate work experience.
3+ years supervisory experience in production environment.
Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Security, HACCP and laboratory methods.
Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Excel).
