This Registered Nurse (RN) Float Pool – Clinical Inpatient position will support the Centralized Staffing Float Pool at various hospitals to include locations in NY – Rhinebeck and CT – Sharon, Danbury, Norwalk and New Milford.
The Registered Nurse (RN) Float Pool provides direct patient care that is guided by the American Nurses Association (ANA) scope of practice. A Registered Nurse collaborates with patients, family/significant others, peers, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team in the delivery of healthcare services to patients. The Registered Nurse assesses the patient’s needs, care plans, implements, and evaluates the medical and nursing regimens in accordance with the hospital and nursing philosophy, policies/procedures, and standards. They demonstrate leadership skills and commitment to professional accountability and growth.

Pay: $65.00 - $85.00 per hour

- Float Pool, PRN
- Salary $65/hr to $85/hr, depending on number of shifts per work period
- Graduated from an accredited school of nursing with an Associate’s Level Degree (required) or Bachelor’s degree in nursing (preferred).
- Current and unobstructed New York State Registered Nurse (NY Hospitals)
- Current and unobstructed Connecticut Registered Nurse License (CT Hospitals)
- New graduates awaiting licensure at the discretion of the Chief Nursing Officer (CT only)
- American Nurses Association endorsed Certifications or Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses Certification Preferred (*Based on Certification specialty hours of work requirement).
- Association Training - please review grid below.
- 2 years of RN experience in one of the following areas: ED, ICU, NICU, CCU, Labor Delivery Recovery, Operating Room, Med Surg, PACU, IR and/or Step Down
