Responsible for providing leadership and management to a clinical practice(s) and for its day-to-day operations to ensure appropriate systems, policies and procedures are in place to drive quality clinical outcomes, patient, staff and physician satisfaction, and excellent financial performance. Responsibilities
Supervises staff; develops, plans and schedules workflow; implements and monitors approved policies and procedures.
Provides administrative oversight and support for the delivery of quality patient services; serves as a liaison with patients, staff, academic administration and faculty.
Plans for space allocation and prudent resource utilization between the locations.
Responsible for meeting patient & revenue targets.
Gathers and analyzes relevant activity data; manages controllable costs in line with practice budgets.
May be responsible for traveling between locations; providing day-to-day oversight, while maintaining physical resources for efficiency, cost effectiveness and a safe environment for patients and staff.
Management duties include interviewing, selecting and training of employees; planning and directing their work, coaching and evaluating performance.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Strong human resources and supervisory experience.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated success in program implementation, operations, and fiscal management; attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to prepare, organize and maintain accurate and detailed reports and files.
Excellent knowledge of information technology and its application to the health care environment; electronic medical records experience is strongly preferred.
Physician Relations or Mediation experience.
Some exposure to Billing/ Data Analysis.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree or Registered Nurse License is required.
LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION:
Registered Nurse license is preferred.
Required Skills Five (5) years ambulatory care experience relevant to assigned clinical practice, including two (2) years of supervisory experience is required.
