Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance and design. This role involves various tasks related to the upkeep and enhancement of residential and commercial properties, ensuring that landscapes are both beautiful and functional.
Duties

Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
Assist in the installation of new landscapes, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers.
Dig, build, and maintain garden beds to enhance the aesthetic appeal of properties.
Operate irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
Provide tree care services, including pruning and removal as necessary.
Execute hardscape installations such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
Conduct snow plowing during winter months to maintain accessibility for clients.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition to ensure safety and efficiency.

Skills

Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques and practices.
Experience with snow plowing is preferred but not required.
Ability to dig, build, and maintain various garden structures effectively.
Proficient in irrigation system installation and maintenance.
Familiarity with tree care practices including pruning and disease management.
Competence in hardscape installation techniques for durable outdoor features.
Excellent physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
