The Payroll Manager will oversee the payroll operations for the thousands of providers of our sister company Vibrant ABA, ensuring accurate and timely payment, while maintaining compliance with employment regulations. This role demands an individual who is detail-oriented, proactive in problem-solving, and skilled in leading and managing a diverse team. The Payroll Manager will also collaborate across departments to streamline processes and ensure alignment with company objectives. Payroll Manager Responsibilities
Supervise and manage the payroll operations teams
Ensure all providers are paid accurately and on time, owning the end-to-end payroll process.
Oversee unemployment claims, wage parity, disability, PTO, and other benefits management for providers.
Educate providers on available benefits and assist them in selecting the most suitable options.
Drive process improvement initiatives, troubleshoot payroll issues, and optimize team efficiency.
Collaborate with interdepartmental teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Hire, train, and develop team members to uphold the company’s standards and values.
Payroll Manager Success Measurements
Day 1: Meet with the CFO and key stakeholders to gain an overview of payroll operations.
Day 30-45: Fully understand existing payroll systems and processes, documenting workflows.
Day 60: Lead weekly team meetings, manage hiring/firing decisions, and establish team accountability.
Day 90-120: Resolve key challenges and enhance cross-departmental collaboration.
6 Months: Present and execute a plan to optimize payroll operations, ensuring minimal staffing and maximum efficiency.
Payroll Manager Requirements
Proven experience in operations, preferably in a healthcare or service industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to hold teams accountable while fostering a positive environment.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in payroll systems and tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
Ability to handle multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across departments.
