Job Description Summary We are on the lookout for an organized, enthusiastic, welcoming support team member who is committed to providing an outstanding experience for the families who receive pediatric speech-language, occupational, and physical therapy services in our St. Croix clinic. This will begin as a part-time position as a front desk associate and therapy aide with the opportunity to evolve into a full-time role. We are especially interested in applicants who may be interested in pursuing education to become a licensed speech or occupational therapy assistant. Essential Job Responsibilities
Front desk duties include welcoming families for their appointments, collecting & recording payments, scheduling and confirming client appointments, and answering phone calls. Cheerfully multi-tasking in a fast-paced waiting room environment.
Enthusiastic collaboration with our dedicated pediatric therapists and support team including communication about appointment scheduling, administrative tasks, and assistance with insurance claims billing.
General management of our clinic space and therapy aide duties including cleaning treatment materials between sessions, organizing therapy supplies, assisting occupational therapists & speech-language pathologists with creating therapy materials, designing bulletin boards & displays, and maintaining a clean & organized waiting room.
Effective communication for optimizing the therapy experience for clients and our team. Educating new families on the therapy process, answering questions from clients, and communicating with referral sources.
Playing with adorable children in the waiting room (siblings of our clients, children who arrive early). Learning about children with special needs to be able to support their families.

Compensation: Starting at 20 hours per week, $12-15/hour. Hours will generally be Tuesdays through Fridays from 12pm to 5pm.
