Oncology Nurse, RN

Now hiring a qualified Registered Nurse, RN with at least 2 years of experience for an Oncology Clinic in ND!
Oncology Clinic RN Pay:

$2,446 - $2,646 weekly gross working 40 hours
Plus travel pay to assignment
Local and travel packages both available based on eligibility
Weekly direct deposit

Oncology Clinic RN / Registered Nurse Job Description:

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical and emotional health to develop individualized care plans.
Prepare and administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other medications via IV, ensuring compliance with protocols and safety standards.
Monitor patients during and after infusion for adverse reactions or side effects; respond promptly to any complications.
Educate patients and families about treatment plans, side effects, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
Work closely with oncologists, pharmacists, and other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and treatment plans.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes in electronic medical records (EMR).
Serve as an advocate for patients, addressing concerns and providing resources for emotional and psychological support.
Stay updated on advancements in oncology nursing and infusion therapies, participating in ongoing education and professional development.

Oncology Clinic RN / Registered Nurse Qualifications:

2 years of experience in clinical oncology
ND or multistate RN license in good standing
AHA BLS
AHA ACLS
AHA PALS
ONS Chemotherapy certification required
Experience with Epic

Schedule and Timeline:

Monday - Friday
No holidays or weekends!
8-hour day shift
40 hours per week
Now interviewing for a Nov / Dec start date.
16-week direct contract with the opportunity to extend.
