Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, focusing on both preventive and acute health needs. This role requires a strong clinical background and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The Nurse Practitioner will be involved in various aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up care.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, including physical examinations and medical histories.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
Provide education and counseling to patients regarding health management and disease prevention.
Perform procedures such as botulinum toxin treatments, pain management interventions, and medical imaging assessments.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in Level I and Level II Trauma Centers to manage complex cases.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Engage in case management activities to coordinate care across various services.
Participate in family planning discussions and provide relevant resources to patients.
Offer specialized care in memory care settings for patients with cognitive impairments.
Experience
A Master’s degree in Nursing or a related field is required.(FNP or ACNP)
Current Nurse Practitioner certification is mandatory
Previous experience in a medical office setting or trauma center is highly desirable.
Proficiency in managing medical records and familiarity with electronic health record systems is essential.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
