MRI Supervisor

NASC GLOBAL, a leading HR Consulting and Management firm, is excited to support the search for an experienced MRI Supervisor for our valued client in Berlin, VT. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to lead MRI operations and ensure high standards of patient care.

Position Overview: The MRI Supervisor will oversee the technical and compliance measures of all operations in the MRI department. This role involves scheduling employees to meet patient volume needs, participating in the hiring process of new staff, and overseeing technical procedures, patient care, and workflow.

The MRI Supervisor will also perform duties as an MRI Technologist and provide coaching and guidance to other staff members, fostering collaboration across the department. Participation in a rotating weekend on-call schedule is required.

Compensation: Our client offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $85,000 to $128,000, along with a signing bonus of $15,000 in three equal payments and a partial relocation package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the technical and compliance measures of all aspects of MRI operations.
  • Assist with scheduling employees to ensure adequate staffing based on patient volume.
  • Participate in the hiring process for new staff.
  • Oversee technical procedures, patient care, and workflow to ensure safe and effective patient care.
  • Perform duties as an MRI Technologist when needed.
  • Act as a coach, providing guidance for staff members and facilitating collaboration among departmental personnel.
  • Participate in rotating weekend on-call rotation from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday and Sunday.

Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from an approved Medical Radiographic Program.
  • Advanced certification in MRI.
  • At least three years of experience in MRI.
  • Two years of experience as a lead tech or supervisor.
  • Effective communication skills.

  • Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MRI technology and patient care protocols.

Desired Certifications:
  • Participation in ACR accreditation is a plus.
  • Active MRSO certification is desirable.
