We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mortgage Loan Originator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding clients through the mortgage application process, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations, and providing exceptional customer service. You will leverage your expertise in loan origination and financial services to help clients secure the best mortgage options available.
Duties

Assist clients in understanding their mortgage options and guide them through the application process.
Conduct thorough assessments of client financial situations to determine suitable loan products.
Negotiate loan terms with lenders on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of FNMA guidelines and underwriting processes.
Utilize financial software and tools, including Quicken, for efficient loan processing and tracking.
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, including Fair Housing regulations.
Provide ongoing support throughout the mortgage servicing process, addressing any client inquiries or concerns promptly.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders in the financial services industry.

Qualifications

Proven experience in loan origination or a related field within the financial services sector.
Strong understanding of underwriting processes and mortgage servicing practices.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations and compliance standards.
Proficiency in using financial software and tools to streamline operations.
Ability to effectively negotiate terms and conditions with lenders.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex information clearly.
Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills to manage multiple applications simultaneously.
