References medical terminology and material about medical procedures to ensure generation of accurate reports. Maintains a transcription log for accuracy. Performs quality assurance checks on all reports in a timely manner. Ensures reports are dictated, transcribed, signed, dated, and on the chart within the required time frames. Provides information to supervisors, and co-workers as needed. Enters, transcribes, records, stores, or maintains in written or electronic form with accuracy. Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work in a timely efficient manner. Understands medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and the various medical specialties as required in areas of responsibility. Uses communication skills (both verbal and written) necessary to perform the essential functions of the position. 11. Understanding of various dictation styles. 12.
