Medical Critical Care, NP/PA-Nocturnist or Swingternist
Christiana Care is currently looking for Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to join our Medical Critical Care Team servicing 3 hospital campuses (1,300 beds) in Newark and Wilmington, DE and Elkton, MD. This is a full-time position dedicated to Nocturnist or Swingternist shift. The selected candidate will provide clinical management to patients in the Medical ICU with the support and collaboration by a medical intensivist as well as responding to code blues, performing ICU admissions, and managing rapid responses (Cecil campus only).
Nocturnist:
12-hour shift, 7:00p-7:00a rotating between Wilmington and Cecil campus
1 in 3 to 4 weekends
1 major and 1-2 minor holidays per year
Swingternist:
10-hour shift, 4:00p-2:00a only at Newark campus
1 in 3 to 4 weekends
1 major and 1-2 minor holidays per year
Positions include off-shift premium starting at $20,000.00 Candidate may also elect to be a partial nocturnist or partial swingternist with 50% of shifts dedicated to off-shift and other 50% of shifts dedicated to days.

Requirements:
Licensed or eligible for Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of Delaware and Maryland
Acute Care NP license required
Prescriptive Authority for the state of Delaware and Maryland
DEA registration for the state of Delaware and Maryland
ACLS required
