We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to healthcare professionals, ensuring smooth operations within the office.
Assist with patient intake procedures, including vital signs, and vaccinations
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Prepare patients for examinations and assist during procedures as needed.
Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and monitor patient responses.
Coordinate with other healthcare providers for referrals and follow-up care.
Utilize medical terminology effectively when communicating with patients and staff.
Stay updated on the latest developments in primary care and related fields.
Qualifications
Previous experience in medical administrative support or a similar role is preferred.
Knowledge of primary care practices and procedures is a plus.
Familiarity with physiology, vaccination administration, and vital signs.
Understanding of primary care care processes and protocols.
Proficiency in medical terminology relevant to the healthcare setting.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
