Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Prepare patients for examinations by taking medical histories, EKGs, reconciling medication and ensuring they are assisted.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality is upheld.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care instructions.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment.
- Proven experience in patient care within a medical setting.
- Knowledge of anatomy and emergency medicine principles.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience in outpatient settings is a plus.
