CHI Health has an immediate need to add a Medical Assistant / Certified Medical Assistant (NOT Med Aide / CNA) to our University Family Medicine / Priority Care Clinic located off of 24th & Cumming!
Clinic Hours: Monday-Sunday 8a-8p - Must have the flexiblity to work Monday-Friday BETWEEN 8a-8p and rotating every 3rd-4th weekend
**This clinic is open to hiring ALL titles. If you are an RN (Nurse), LPN, EMT / Paramedic and are interested in working in the clinic and would like to learn more - please apply! We are open to hiring ALL titles. Sign on bonus will apply to these positions as well!

Expectations:
- Performs general patient care following established clinic workflows.
- Performs general patient care following established clinic workflows.
- Greets and prepares patients for the health care provider by obtaining and recording vital signs, reviewing drug allergies and current medications, completing applicable screening questionnaires and documenting reason for visit.
- Collects and prepares ordered specimens for laboratory analysis.
- Prepares and provides ordered medications and/or vaccines to patients.
- Cleans and sterilizes instruments.
- Ensures patient exam rooms are stocked, clean, and orderly.
- Escalates non-routine issues, questions and/or concerns timely and appropriately.
- Ensures safety checklists and quality controls are completed as required and necessary action taken if indicated.
- Performs other duties within scope of role as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of medical assisting program
- Successfully completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or current/valid
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
- High school diploma or equivalent
