Materials Handler
Goodro Lumber in Middlebury, VT is under new ownership, and we’re excited to bring new energy and grow our wonderful, family-oriented team!
We are seeking a Materials Handler with the following details:
No prior experience is necessary. We can provide on-the-job training and support. You need to be able to regularly lift up to 50-80lbs unassisted and work outdoors in all seasons. Other than that, you are someone who enjoys working with their hands and is friendly, teachable, and reliable!

Work Location: In person
We are seeking a Materials Handler with the following details:
- Full-time role working Monday through Friday (no weekends)
- Daily schedule from 6:30AM to 3:30PM (8 hours paid, with an hour unpaid break)
- Minimum pay of $18 per hour (without experience), or higher (with experience)
- In-person at our Lumber Yard at 388 E. Main Street in East Middlebury, VT
- Manage, monitor, and stock inventory
- Organize, pick, and prepare orders for deliveries
- Receive and validate deliveries from suppliers
- Operate equipment (forklifts) and tools (saws) safely and properly with training
- Assist customers with locating, handling, and loading purchases
- Provide exceptional service to all customers: prompt, courteous, friendly!
