Maintenance Worker
MAINTENANCE WORKER – Full-time (40 hours)
JOB SUMMARY: Maintenance worker performs routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repairs for the facility by performing the following duties:
DUTIES:
· Performs minor and major repair of all buildings and equipment
· Performs outside custodial duties such as snow removal with a plow or shovel
· Replaces broken windows; repairs light bulbs; install/ repair window blinds
· Performs cleaning duties
· Perform preventive maintenance procedure on building mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis; inspects belts, check fluid levels, replaces filter, greases bearings, seals, etc; repair or replaces broken parts
· Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required
· Assists with the renovation/remodeling of buildings; repairs plaster and drywall; paints building structures
· Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
· High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
· Valid Driver’s Licenses
· Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. Will be asked to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
· Ability to read and write and perform basic mathematical calculations
