This entry-level position is responsible for duties like cleaning, groundskeeping, basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, custodial, painting, etc. This position requires a flexible, energetic, go-getter looking to provide support for all managers and locations.

Your Role:
Join our amazing company and start your career in Self-Storage today! The maintenance role provides services to single or multiple locations while directly reporting to the Property Supervisor. This entry-level position is responsible for duties like cleaning, groundskeeping, basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, custodial, painting, etc. This position requires a flexible, energetic, go-getter looking to provide support for all managers and locations.
Your Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance tasks at properties including minor carpentry, electrical, plumbing, landscaping and property upkeep while keeping track of site maintenance logs.
- Ensure the standards of cleanliness and appearance are exceeded in restrooms, exterior areas, offices, storage units, hallways, and stairwells.
- Maintains a safe environment for employees and customers with safe practices on maintenance equipment and ensures the maintenance areas are organized daily.
- Delights customers in every interaction with assistance at the property and at times, supporting site staff with customer inquiries.
- Monitor and report areas needing improvement or issues related to the physical appearance of the property to management.
- Ensure that the facility has sufficient supplies to fulfill job duties.
- Demonstrate general maintenance knowledge and skills to enhance operational performance.
- Perform other duties assigned with minimum supervision.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on general maintenance experience.
- Valid driver’s license, insurance, and working transportation required to travel between properties or conduct other work-related business.
- Ability to stand, sit, crawl, bend, climb, or balance on a ladder, and transport/lift/move up to 45 lbs.
- Ability to spend 50% of time in outdoor environments, climbing stairs and opening large doors.
- Weekend availability and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for helping others.
