Machine Tech 1 - PPP - 2nd Shift
Job Description:
The Paint, Print, Pack Machine Technician 1 – E-Coat is responsible for PM’s, daily cleaning, and general maintenance of the paint equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot paint equipment
- Repair and replace worn and broken components
- Troubleshoot all air pumps and regulators
- Make adjustments to equipment to maximize output
- Be responsible for titrations and to make adjustments accordingly
- Record pressure differences on gauges
- Visually inspect gauges and other equipment
- Change any filters that need it
- Monitor all chains for excessive build up and clean/replace as needed
- Operate all equipment within the cell
- Monitor the lines and assure that each line is operating at 100%
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Maintain a steady work pace
- Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area
- Practice 5Ss
- Train other technicians
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Understand and follow verbal and written instructions
- Advanced Mechanical skills
Education and Experience Requirements
- High School or GED diploma
- Experience in maintenance, mechanical, or technical field at MT or similar employer
