Machine Operator

Abacus Staffing, a leading provider in distribution and light industrial talent, is currently seeking a motivated and team-oriented, individual for an immediate Machine Operator opportunity in Pittston, PA.
Duties:
- Operate and monitor machines to produce products according to specifications
- Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet standards
- Handle materials and tools necessary for production
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Requirements:
- Experience in machine operation or related field preferred
- Experience using Extrusion or CNC Machines, a plus
- Familiarity with tooling and equipment used in manufacturing processes
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical instructions and specifications
- Ability to use hand tools and perform basic math calculations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects if required
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is a plus
