Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Lumper to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods within our facility. This position involves heavy lifting and operating various types of equipment, making it essential for candidates to possess both physical stamina and mechanical knowledge. Responsibilities

Load and unload freight from trucks, ensuring proper handling of all items.
Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, and order pickers safely and efficiently.
Utilize pallet jacks to move products within the warehouse.
Maintain an organized workspace and ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards.
Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and productivity.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues.
Assist in inventory management by accurately tracking incoming and outgoing shipments.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the shift.
Proficiency in operating heavy equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse safety.
Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues is a plus.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.
