Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The LPN will provide essential nursing care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. This role requires a commitment to patient care, adherence to healthcare standards, and the ability to work effectively in various clinical settings, including home community care and specialized units.
Duties

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition.
Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
Perform specimen collection processing and maintain accurate patient records.
Provide care for patients with infectious diseases, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Support patients requiring neonatal ventilator assistance or those undergoing dialysis.
Engage in pain management strategies for patients experiencing discomfort.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
Educate patients and families on health management, including home community care practices.
Maintain a clean, safe environment in accordance with established standards.

Skills

Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
Proficiency in handling neonatal ventilators and providing specialized care.
Knowledge of infectious disease protocols and specimen collection processes.
Experience in home community care settings is preferred.
Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities.
Competence in pain management techniques and strategies.
Familiarity with operating room (OR) procedures is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in patient documentation.
