Job Summary: As an LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) in Long Term Care, you will be responsible for providing basic nursing care to residents in long-term care facilities. You will work under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse to ensure the comfort and well-being of residents.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Help residents with mobility and positioning
Take and record vital signs
Assist with feeding and meal preparation
Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
Follow care plans and communicate any changes in residents' conditions to the nursing team
Qualifications and Skills:
Current LNA certification
High school diploma or GED
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Compassion and empathy for elderly residents
Ability to follow directions and work well under supervision
