Overview: We are seeking a Land Survey Technician to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work on various land surveying projects and gain valuable experience in the field. Duties:
- Assist survey crew with topography, boundary surveys and construction staking
- Operate survey equipment and hand tools for surveying tasks
- Use survey programs to gather, retrieve and interpret data and perform computations
- Maintain survey equipment, vehicles, tools and office
Qualifications
Strong mathematical skills including algebra and trigonometry
Ability to perform data collection and analysis
Valid driver's license and high school diploma or GED
Strong attention to detail and precision in survey work
Able to communicate after hours, work overtime and travel as required
Able to work independently and in a team environment outdoors in all weather conditions
Experience with Leica Total Stations, Top Con GPS is a plus
Experience with Auto CAD and Carlson software is a plus
