Barrington is looking for a FIELD SURVEYOR/TECHNICIAN possessing the ability to operate as part of a two-man survey crew and also as a one-man crew utilizing GPS and Robotic equipment. What you’ll do:
Collect field data for preparation of surveys by using Robotic, GPS and Total Station surveying equipment.
Perform field work for topographic, boundary, site plans, and surveys, both residential and commercial.
Conduct property legal research both online and at municipal offices.
Prepare surfaces, surveys, and point files.
Check field notes for accuracy and completeness.
Process surveys using Auto CAD Civil 3D. (plus, but not required)
Perform office calculations and solve boundary surveys. (plus, but not required)
Prepare legal descriptions and survey plats. (plus, but not required)
Prepare construction staking, including point files. (plus, but not required)
What you’ll need:
Five plus years of experience in boundary surveying, construction stakeout, and topographic surveying.
Working knowledge of GPS and Robotic.
Working knowledge of Auto CAD Civil 3D is a plus but not required.
Effective management skills and ability to be interactive at all levels of the company.
Experience with Data Collection Technology.
Team-oriented attitude.
Ability to successfully represent the company in a professional way.
High degree of accuracy and efficiently in output.
Computer skills within Microsoft Office.
High integrity and core values.
Valid Ohio Driver License.
Professional registration in the State of Ohio is a plus, but not required.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year Benefits:
