Lab Technician

We are looking for a Lab Technician to join our Farris team in Brecksville!

This position is responsible for performing moderately complex electronic, mechanical or physical testing and/or analysis of materials or finished products for the Farris Valve team. Examples of the nature of testing include (but are not limited to) destructive physical analysis, product performance, cyclic fatigue and equipment calibration. You will record results and report findings to production, quality control, and other departments as appropriate.

Your Challenge:

Perform a variety of tests utilizing specialized equipment.
Write detailed analysis reports as required by the Company and any relevant regulatory agency.
Maintain small databases for the control of work and records retention.
Report findings per established procedure.
May be responsible for the production and maintenance of auditable records for all testing performed.
May assist with drafting procedures or purchasing test materials and equipment.

Your Expertise:

2+ years of relevant experience.
High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
Ability to demonstration a can-do attitude and work with others in team.
Attention to detail to thoroughly follow work instructions, standard work and department procedures.
Self-motivated individuals that work with integrity.
Willingness to learn and solve problems from within the business.
