Job Title: US Instrumentation Specialist I Location: 4625 NE Brookwood Parkway, Hillsboro, OR Compensation: $33.92 - $37.47/hour on W2, based on experience Shift Timing: Monday – Thursday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM (may vary due to business needs) Responsibilities:
Maintain and calibrate instrumentation and control systems within the Hillsboro facility, including Filling, Packaging, Inspection, Warehouse, Distribution Center, Tank Management, and QC laboratory instruments.
Troubleshoot and resolve instrument issues, providing emergency repairs for all HTO site control systems across Filling, Packaging, Inspection, QC, Tank Management, Utilities, Warehouse, and Distribution Center.
Support engineering and operations teams in the design, installation, testing, and maintenance of Fill Finish manufacturing and support equipment.
Ensure all assigned equipment and subsystems are:
Calibrated at required intervals and completed by the assigned due date.
Maintained in a validated state and operated per Federal, State, Local, and company regulations.
Perform Confined Space Entry as needed.
Complete scheduled and corrective maintenance in compliance with c GMP documentation guidelines.
Install new instrumentation and process control equipment.
Calibrate instruments and perform Variable Frequency Drive replacements and configurations.
Configure site instrumentation and collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality departments on new installations and system modifications.
Conduct all tasks within a GMP-regulated environment and attend required c GMP and Safety training.
Requirements:
Strong understanding of industrial process instrumentation and process control systems.
Skilled in troubleshooting and repairing control systems across various site departments (e.g., Filling, QC, Tank Management).
Ability to read, interpret, and revise engineering documents, P&IDs, SOPs, and use standard computer software (word processing, spreadsheets, databases, email).
Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills to ensure compliance with GMP and safety regulations.
Knowledgeable in Federal, State, Local, and company regulations and policies.
Preferences:
Strong technical writing skills for preparing reports and revising technical documents and procedures.
Customer-focused with the ability to anticipate needs and take ownership of problem resolution.
Works effectively under general supervision, with guidance on priorities and timelines.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and adjust work schedule or perform overtime as needed.
Training Requirements:
Complete all required c GMP and Safety training as per Department Policy.
Follow established on-the-job training procedures.
Education/Training:
Completion of an approved 2-year instrumentation or industrial engineering curriculum, or an Associate’s Degree in a related science or engineering field.
Thorough knowledge of industrial process instrumentation principles.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written).
