The Schoolhouse Learning Center in South Burlington seeks a part-time (Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 2:00 pm) in-house substitute for preschool-8th grade students in our nature- and play-based program. Candidates should enjoy spending a lot of time outdoors in all weather, exploring, and teaching children about the natural world, as well as supporting a social-justice focused curriculum. Job Qualifications:
Some experience working with young children is preferred; we will train the right candidate.
High School diploma required.
Teachers must attend 15 hours of paid professional development training in early childhood education each year, and obtain certification in First Aid/CPR (employer paid).
