Combining responsibilities for HR/Payroll and Activities, you'll tap into your creative energy and sense of dedication to serve residents and employees from diverse backgrounds. As Activity Director, you'll create opportunities to celebrate every individual through engaging and meaningful moments, encounters, and events that fulfill our residents' psychological, social, and spiritual needs. As the HR/Payroll Specialist, you'll organize and complete all payroll and human resource records and paperwork. Both roles require you to possess strong customer service skills, be a self-starter, and maintain high attention to detail. Summary of Responsibilities
Encourage social communication among residents through group activities, recreation, and one-on-one activities.
Plan trips (shopping, scenic, other) and arrange for transportation and supervision.
Encourage intellectual and educational development through literature, lectures, movies, cultural events, and other community activities.
Comply with safety regulations and policies—knowledge of federal and state guidelines.
Accurately input facility payroll and keep all payroll records and employee files organized and up-to-date.
Provide support to the Executive Director and other facility administrative employees.
Answer phones and act as receptionist when required.
Desired Experience and Education
One (1) or more years of experience in a residential healthcare or hospitality environment is strongly preferred.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
One (1) year of previous administrative or HR experience is preferred.
Some vocational training or college is preferred.
