Communicates with appropriate parties to ensure all loans close in accordance with Credit Union, liquidity partner and regulatory guidelines.. Answers urgent calls regarding closing packages from multiple parties, records mortgages, schedules closings, and acts as the liaison with our title search vendor.
Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Schedules closings for all HELOC transactions. Serves as the point of contact for the member, e Branch, Direct Retail, and title search provider.
- Initiates outbound calls to closing agents to set the expectations for loan closings. Help members via phone calls that require assistance during a HELOC closing meeting.
- Reviews and approves HELOC documents. Ensures all information is accurate, including but not limited to; legal description, vesting information, names, lien position, account conditions, and payoffs.
- Completes system inputs to create HELOC loan documents.
- Assesses members' needs and concerns; provides consultative services to members regarding HELOC products and services.
- Handles member complaints through phone calls, correspondence and follow-up; utilizes knowledge of Credit Union products and services to provide solutions to members' concerns and problems; follows through to ensure member satisfaction.
- Uses established procedures to carry out routine work duties. Seeks guidance from team members to resolve issues and to identify appropriate issues for escalation.
- Interacts with other departments and vendors to research and resolve problems and provide requested information.
