Position: Greeter (Discharge Ambassador)
Location: Parkwest Medical Center
Shift(s): Part-time (Mon- Fri)
Pay: $12/hr

Greeter Position Summary
As a Greeter, you will be responsible for welcoming guests by prompt recognition and seating of all guests as they enter our various establishments such as hotels, hospitals and other facilities. Provide guests with all directions and provide all information regarding the hotel, hospital or facility.
Greeter Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver the company experience for guests.
• Work with the hotel/facility team to create the company experience for guests.
• Create an environment for the guests designed to stimulate all senses through personal services, amenities and experiences.
• Follow up with guests with additional services that enhance the guests’ experience.
• Handle guest requests personally and/or refers as appropriate.
• Demonstrate the company values when providing service and teamwork.
• Help servers provide service during busy times.
• Handle customer concerns, inquiries and complaints, and escalate to the appropriate supervisor or manager.
• Process customer bills promptly and accurately (If required).
• Other duties as assigned

Position Qualifications
Skills and Abilities

• Strong interpersonal skills; frequently communicate with team members and customers; must be able to exchange accurate information.
• Ability to drive vehicles of all makes, models, and sizes
• Reliability and responsibility

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Prior valet parking attendant experience preferred

Other Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
• Expected to constantly work in all outdoor weather conditions
• Required to wear a uniform and follow appropriate grooming standards

Incumbent must be able to:

• Stand for up to six (6) consecutive hours
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Move quickly and carefully throughout the parking area
• Communicate effectively in spoken English with team members and customers
