SERVICE AMBASSADOR Reports To: Business Office Manager FLSA Status: Hourly / Non-Exempt POSITION SUMMARY The Service Ambassador creates a warm and welcoming environment in the lobby by smiling, greeting visitors by name, and learning about guests. Shares important information. Coordinates a fond farewell celebrating discharging patients. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES  Creates warm, welcoming lobby environment by addressing visitors by name and learning about them.

 Answers phones with cheerful, warm greeting.  Makes collection calls as instructed to proactively prevent accounts from becoming delinquent.  Answers basic center and business office questions; escalates as needed to appropriate person.  Assists with daily candidate interview schedules as needed; greets all incoming candidates and routes them to appropriate person for interview or the center’s Director of Human Resources.

 Processes and distributes the center’s incoming and outgoing mail.  Accepts and handles payments at desk in accordance with policy and procedures.  Maintains the center’s Patient Fund Petty Cash box.  Prepares, copies, and mails administrative correspondence.

 Assists with inventory and ordering of office supplies.  Maintains business office filing.  Follows emergency protocol.  Maintains the confidentiality of all residents’ records.

 Reports all instances of abuse or neglect or other concerns to management.  Attends and participates in orientation, training, and in-service education, and staff meetings.  Ensures all mandatory training is completed on time.  Performs other duties as necessary for the successful operation of the center.
