JOB TITLE: Front Office Coordinator REPORTS TO: Practice Manager & Dr. Cowen JOB SUMMARY: The Front Office Coordinator is responsible for overall front office activities including customer service, answering phones, scanning medical records, dictation, filing charts and greeting patients. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School graduate or equivalent required; college degree preferred. One year+ experience in medical office is preferred. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Excellent oral and written communication skills; including the ability to speak and write effectively and to analyze, edit, transcription.
Exceptional customer service skills
Proven ability to handle confidential information and work with minimal supervision
Proficient with MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Quick Books experience beneficial
Thorough knowledge of modern office equipment, including multi-phone lines systems, fax, copiers, scanners, etc.
Ability to maintain cooperative working relationships with staff, and referring doctor offices
Be service-oriented with the ability to pay attention to details in a fast-paced environment
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: -Provides exceptional customer service in person and on the phone to patients, families, staff, and referring offices. Greeting patients, checking patients insurance and obtaining co-pays and deductibles, HIPAA Privacy and Security procedures, etc. -Maintains dictation printing, and emailing. -Scheduling patient appointments. -Answering phone calls. -Maintaining surgeons calendar through Google. -Scanning medical information to insurance audits. -Referral intake through email and fax. -Able to back up front desk co-worker. -Other duties as assigned. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits:
