Front of House Team Member

Job Overview
As a Front of House Team Member, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your role will involve engaging with customers, assisting them with their needs, and ensuring a smooth operation in the front of house area. You will play a vital part in enhancing the overall dining experience while adhering to food safety standards.
Duties

Greet and welcome customers as they enter the establishment with a friendly demeanor.
Assist customers in placing orders and provide information about menu items.
Handle food preparation and ensure proper food handling practices are followed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area, including bussing tables and clearing dishes promptly.
Utilize retail math skills to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication regarding orders and special requests.
Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen or grocery store environment is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong food handling knowledge is essential for maintaining safety standards.
Basic math skills are necessary for processing transactions accurately.
Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods effectively.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
Strong communication skills to engage with customers and team members effectively.
A positive attitude and willingness to help others are crucial for success in this role.
