As a key part of our Chiropractic and Therapeutic Massage team, the Front Desk Receptionist ensures a smooth and efficient experience for patients, providers, and staff.
Position Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to excellent customer service, the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and a professional demeanor. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and play a critical role in ensuring they receive the best possible care.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist patients and visitors with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
  • Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring accuracy in collecting and entering patient information.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring optimal use of provider time and clinic resources.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and routing to appropriate departments.
  • Maintain and organize patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Coordinate with providers and staff to ensure smooth office operations.
  • Process payments, co-pays, and insurance verification.
  • Handle patient concerns with professionalism and escalate to the appropriate personnel when necessary.

  • Organized and Detail-Oriented: Able to manage multiple tasks and ensure accuracy in scheduling, patient data entry, and communication.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Professional and courteous in both verbal and written interactions with patients, staff, and providers.
  • Customer Service Oriented: Committed to providing an exceptional patient experience and maintaining a positive, supportive atmosphere.
  • Proficiency in Healthcare Systems: Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) or practice management software is a plus.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Able to anticipate needs and proactively address issues to support smooth clinic operations.
  • Team Player: Willing to collaborate with other staff and assist as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a receptionist or in customer service, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare systems is preferred.
  • Proficiency with computers and office equipment.
Compensation:
  • Competitive pay ($18-$22 depending on experience)
  • Complementary chiropractic and massage treatments
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 45 per week
