We work with baristas all over the country, so if you’re a freelance barista looking for some extra shifts, we’d love to hear from you
We’re a New York, Montreal, Miami, LA based mobile coffee company providing espresso bars for clients at Corporate and Social events in major cities throughout the US, Canada and Europe. We are a 13-year-old, fast-growing, and ambitious company recognized for our personality and industry-leading customer service as well as the quality of our coffee.
Experienced Freelance Event Barista
We are looking for experienced freelance baristas to join us in this unique, demanding yet rewarding role as an Event Barista. You'll be working jobs mainly in the NYC & Borough area.
A driving license is a plus - driving Baristas are paid accordingly, and our standard rate is very competitive.
YOU WILL

Travel to venues with us. We work across the NYC & Boroughs.
Enjoy travel. We work in all major US, Canadian and European cities, so a love of visiting new places is a big plus!
Produce our usual high standard of coffee and other beverages, to our specs and recipes.
Be polite, chatty, friendly and accommodating. We pride ourselves on our “professional with personality” approach, so exemplary customer service is a must.
Represent Express Kafeh while always upholding our fantastic reputation.
Ideally, be passionate about specialty coffee, as well as friendly and sociable.
Previous experience as a trained barista is a major plus.

A good hourly rate of pay ($20-$25 based on experience), alongside food and travel expenses (for travel related events).
We pay our freelancers quickly, so freelancing is a perfect way to make extra money fast.
A friendly team atmosphere. All our freelancers work with at least one full-time member of the team who will oversee running the event, and at busier events may work with other freelancers. We’re proud that many new friendships have been made within our team and network of freelance baristas.
Opportunities to travel if this interests you. You could be paid to travel all around the US attending events, or even visit a Canadian or European city with us.
A well-organized and positive company culture. Our freelancer feedback is continuously positive, and we pride ourselves on our industry-leading clear, efficient and upfront approach.

IMPORTANT
Now, we are looking for candidates that are looking for freelance, on-call positions as an Event Barista, and although 2 months away we are preparing for our largest event on January 12th to the 14th. We are seeking 100 (YES 100) baristas to join us in NYC on these 3 days. There may be events sooner but this is a monster event - running 60 individual espresso stations under 1 roof so it will take time - the process is as follows:
1. One of our recruiters will review and sort incoming resumes
2. If you are selected as a possible good match, you will receive a message through Indeed to invite you to an on-site interview
3. These on-site interviews will be conducted between Monday December 9th and Friday January 12th.
