Qualifications

• Floral design experience. Must have 2-3 years minimum experience working as a designer for weddings, events, and every day florals.
• Retail experience preferred
• Drivers license necessary

Part-Time Job Description
We are looking for an experienced, creative designer to work alongside our other talented designers to help with the everyday demands of a high-end floral shop. The floral designer needs to be experienced in everyday floral arrangements, event and wedding design, as well as some retail experience including phones and greeting customers. We are looking for a creative, fun, hardworking, multi-tasking and confident individual with the ability to work well with the team while being a self starter and work well independently.
Job description:
Produce innovative and creative designs for weddings, events, funerals and everyday floral.
Process, organize, design, and maintain quality control of all flowers coming in and orders that leave the store.
Maintain a clean and organized environment. Cleaning includes buckets, vases, cooler, floors, design tables, store products and a clean sales floor.
Possess the ability to consult with potential customers regarding their wedding or event.
Has a clear understanding of floral inventory management.
Job requires long hours of standing.
Occasional, Heavy lifting.
Must have 2+ years of design experience.
Background check and valid driver's license.
Delivery, set-up, and some strikes of wedding/event deliveries.
Provide friendly customer service, assist in retail sales, and take phone orders.
Salary: Hourly salary will be commensurate with experience.
Schedule: Part time to start while aspiring to full time. Full time hours would be Tuesday through Saturday, 8:30-5 and possibly evenings. Part time schedule to be determined.
Hours: 20 hours for part time. 40hrs for full time.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
