Fire Alarm & Life Safety Systems Inspector

Syracuse Time & Alarm is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Fire Alarm & Life Safety Systems Inspector to ensure the safety and compliance of fire alarm and life safety systems across commercial and residential properties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Inspection & Testing:
  • Perform detailed inspections and testing of fire alarm systems, sprinklers, emergency lighting, and other life safety systems in compliance with NFPA 72, NFPA 101, and local fire codes.
  • Conduct functional testing of control panels, detectors, pull stations, and other system components to ensure proper operation.
  • Identify and document system deficiencies or failures, recommending corrective actions to clients and management.
Compliance & Documentation:
  • Ensure all inspections meet regulatory requirements and company quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough records of inspections, testing results, and corrective actions taken.

Client Communication & Support:
