Standard Hours: 24
Job Shift: Shift 1
Shift Details: Weekend position - 24 hours - Friday-Satuday-Sunday or Saturday-Sunday-Monday from 8am to 4:40pm with 1 Major and 2 Minor holidays per year covering the Fairfield and Watertown regions.

The creation of the HHC System Support Office recognizes the work of a large and growing group of employees whose responsibilities are continually evolving so that we and our departments now work on behalf of the system as a whole, rather than a single member organization.
With the creation of our new umbrella organization we now have our own identity with a unique payroll, benefits, performance management system, service recognition programs and other common practices across the system.

Position Summary/Responsibilities:
- Create billing estimates and educate patients on their financial liability pre-service.
- Request and secure pre-service collection.
- High telephone interaction with patients, payers and clinical areas.
- Electronic worklist.
- Call center environment.
- Quality and Productivity expectations
- High School diploma required.
- Two years experience in medical or insurance billing preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Professional customer service skills.
- Must be able to sit for 90% of the day.
- Bilingual candidates - Spanish, a plus
