JOB DESCRIPTION The Field Service Technician reports to the National Service Manager of the Finishing Business Unit and is responsible for installing equipment and investigating and troubleshooting technical problems. The position interacts mainly with the customers but also across the Cefla community as well as with outside businesses and individuals. RESPONSIBILITIES · Installs new or modified equipment at customer's facility ensuring full functionality according to specifications. · Analyzes performance reports and documentation from customers and field representatives and inspects malfunctioning or damaged product to determine the nature and source of the problem and determine corrective actions or recommends spare parts replacements. · Coordinates problem resolution with engineering, customer service, and other personnel to expedite repairs · Provides on-site technical assistance to help troubleshooting and repair equipment. REQUIREMENTS: · 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment · Experience with installation, troubleshooting and repair of manufacturing equipment. · High school or GED required, Bachelor’s preferred · Self-starter, decision maker, problem solver, and analyst · Attentive to details but able to make time to think and improve · Manage concurrent tasks and responsibilities · Excellent oral and written communication skills · Customer Service oriented · Ability to multi-task, troubleshoot, able to work in a fast paced environment · Strong prioritization based on urgency and time management skills · Manage concurrent tasks and responsibilities · 75+% travel anticipated Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour Benefits:
