Farmers Market Stand Staff
Overview
We are looking for motivated people to run farmers market stands in the Alexandria and DC area, mostly on weekend mornings. You will need your own vehicle to pick up the materials at the grow room in South Arlington.
As a Market Stand Manager, you will be responsible for loading your vehicle, setting up the stand at the market, actively selling the products, and returning the materials to the grow room. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility and initiative, excellent customer service, and a passion for healthy, delicious greens.
Job Requirements:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales goals
- Willingness to learn all about microgreens nutrition, uses, flavors, and how to grow
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Build and maintain relationships with customers and market managers
- Be personable, responsible, and trustworthy
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Comply with company and market procedures
Other Requirements:
- Drivers' license
- A reliable vehicle
Other Benefits include:
- A commission and free greens!
-Pay starts at $75 per 5-6 hour shift +$5 for gas and quickly moves to $85 + gas money and commission for trustworthy, responsible, and reliable person. Plus a good commission scale.
