Renewal by Andersen of Eastern NY is seeking to hire an outgoing full-time Event Manager to assist in the coordination and overseeing of our participation in events and trade show. A DAY IN THE LIFE AS AN EVENT MANAGER
In this coordinator role, you assist in developing, planning, implementing, and overseeing events and trade shows. Promoting both Renewal by Andersen products, you stay current on remodeling products and services. You are a hands-on leader. Alongside your team, you travel, you assist in set up and break down of booths, and provide on-site supervision of the marketing staff. You also recruit, hire, train, and develop your staff and overall department.
Additionally, you enforce company programs related to event marketing and provide assistance with general marketing functions as needed. Using your thorough organizational skills, you track all sales leads generating by events and trade shows as well as schedule appointments with potential clients. You enjoy the excitement that comes with meeting new people every day!
QUALIFICATIONS

Face-to-face marketing / sales experience
Experience in management or as a supervisor
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
Ability to travel

Experience in event marketing is preferred, but not required. Any remodeling or construction knowledge is a plus!
FULL-TIME WORK SCHEDULE
A flexible schedule in order to travel and work nights/weekends is a must! Schedule depends on company needs and how events and trade shows are scheduled.
