Epidemiology Analyst - $32.64/hr (Division of HIV & STD Program)
Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for an Epidemiology Analyst to support the Division of HIV and STD Programs - Disease Control Bureau. The Epidemiology Analyst will assist with administrative efforts and participate in the planning, design, and implementation of health-related surveillance systems or epidemiologic studies, including outbreak investigation and analysis of epidemiology surveys.
The position will start immediately upon acceptance and employment clearance and is initially funded through 2/28/2025 with a Strong chance of extension.
Pay Rate-
$32.64/hr working 40 hours a week

Minimum Qualifications:
- A masters degree from an accredited college with specialization in epidemiology, biostatistics, or its equivalent
- Required: Proficiency in SAS
- A valid Class C California Drivers License or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions.
- Proficiency in SAS
- SAS Viya experience Experience developing publicly-facing interactive dashboards Knowledge of HL7 message, NEDSS electronic case reporting, and RCKMS
