SPECIFIC DUTIES
- Identify, catalog, and interpret competitive data gathered from publicly available documents and input the data into a Cox competitive database
- Lead market analysis and synthesis of competitive intelligence from a wide range of sources, including in-house databases, web-based research, and coordination with the Cox Business Competitive Strategy team
- Influence critical business decisions through analysis, modeling, and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting
- Distill key business insights from large data sets using software analysis tools
- Develop reports from existing Cox database to drive competitive analysis
- Develop and document processes to improve data capture efficiency
Manage relationships with external Cox suppliers of competitive data
SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum:
- Must be able to commit to 3 full time rotation while enrolled in in a related degree program; Co-op rotations are Spring 2025, Fall 2025, Summer 2026.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet project timelines through good time management and workflow prioritization
- Strong oral, written communications, polished presentation skills and adept at using online video conferencing tools
- Strong in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Slicers, etc.), Power Point, and Tableau

Preferred:
- All majors encouraged to apply, Industrial Engineering, Math or Economics majors are preferred
- Background or relevant coursework in applied statistics
- Experience with SQL, Alteryx, Python, or other coding, data analytics software, and predictive modeling skills are highly preferred
- Strong background in mathematics and statistical analysis
- Strong in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Slicers, etc.), Power Point, and Tableau
- Attention to detail and ability to meet project timelines through good time management and workflow prioritization
- Strong oral, written communications, polished presentation skills and adept at using online video conferencing tools
- Experience performing competitive research for product pricing
- Curiosity-driven to deliver competitive data using web research
Prior professional experience in a corporate environment is preferred

USD 21.06 - 31.63 per hour
Compensation:
Hourly base pay rate is $21.06 - $31.63/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
