We’re hiring Employee Dormitory Cleaners to Live. Work. Explore. this summer!
Job Summary:
Cleaning and maintaining employee and public areas, including dormitories, dining rooms, restrooms, and recreational spaces, while also managing waste disposal and assisting with event setups as needed. Adherence to safety practices and environmental policies is essential for ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for both staff and guests.
The Details:
Position Type: Seasonal
Season Dates: late-April through mid-October 2025 (exact dates vary by location)
Pay: $16.00/hr
Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain all employee areas which include dormitories, employee dining rooms, showers, restrooms, hallways & stairwells, recreational, laundry and common areas. These are all high-traffic, heavily used areas.
- Clean and maintain all public restrooms.
- Empty garbage, ashtrays, and recycling from employee and public areas.
- Assist the Housekeeping guest room attendants and house-persons when instructed.
- Help with banquet and meeting room set-up and tear down when instructed.
- Follow Company and departmental environmental practices, safety practices, and policies and procedures.
- Willing to undertake any other tasks.
Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial experience preferred.
- Must have a desire to maintain high level of cleanliness.
- Able to work independently.
- Must have a keen eye for detail, organized, and ability to complete all assign tasks in a timely manner.
- Must have the aptitude to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Physical Requirements include:
- Frequent standing, walking, reaching outward and above the shoulder for up to seven hours per shift.
- Repetitive motion of arms, wrists, and hands for up to seven hours per shift.
- Requires frequent bending, climbing, and squatting/kneeling.
- Must be able to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
- Must be able to push or pull items weighing up to 100 pounds on a frequent basis.
- Working safely with required chemicals.
