Assemblix Staffing is now hiring for a Production Supervisor for an Elecronic Recycling facility in Plainfield, IN. This will be working a day shift schedule, from 4am to 2:30pm. Pay ranges between $20 - $23 an hour and is dependant on previous experience. An updated resume and interview are required for this position. Candidates must have previous experience operating a Sit-down Forklift and Repair Maintenance. Job Summary: The Shredder Supervisor will work with other key members of corporate and facility management to assure the quality of commodities, efficiency of equipment, and operating performance of the Shredder are maintained for maximum production. In addition, the Shredder Supervisor will lead assigned personnel in ensuring a safe, clean, and well-organized workplace to achieve maximum efficiency and minimize injuries.

Leads team in properly performing preventative maintenance on the Shredder and other assigned equipment.
Helps schedule repairs, installation, and maintenance of shredderparts including inventory of parts, tools, and equipment to ensurecontinuous shredding operations.
Ensures commodities are being properly sorted and contamination isbeing minimized.
Reviews production, quality control, maintenance reports, andmachine statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities.
Ensures shredder parts are being examined for defects such asbreakage and excessive wear
Ensures shredder parts are clean, lubricated, and parts adjusted formaximum efficiency.
Ensures personnel are wearing all required personal protectiveequipment (PPE) and properly dressed for job duties.
Ensures inventory of necessary supplies are being monitored forshredder production such as super sacks.
Notify EH&S of any safety concerns and violations, PPE defects orneed for replacement of safety equipment.
Train and oversee Shredder team members in properly completingassigned job duties.
Responsible for achieving optimum labor, and least amount ofoverhead and material costs within assigned areas.
Help coordinate work schedules based on demands set forth.
Monitors, and reports on operating costs within assigned areas.
Informs management on labor issues including safety,security, employee relations, scheduling, training, etc.within assigned areas
Communicate policy and program changes to assignedpersonnel.
Helps review and approve time cards of assignedpersonnel
Help in conducting ongoing training and re-training ofpersonnel on ERI procedures, policies, and plans.
Assist team in end of the month inventory counts
Develop and maintain constructive and cooperativeworking relations with personnel.
Ensure assigned personnel are in cohesion on reachingassigned goals.
Ensure various compliance-based checklist are beingcompleted and issues being reported to adhere to allcertification standards and regulations
Ensure housekeeping around area to maintain safetyand cleanliness
Report any ideas for efficiency and continuousimprovement to facility leadership.
Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations andstandards.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
2-4 years of relevant work experience preferred
1-2 years of supervisor work experience preferred Required Abilities
