Description:
Overview: An E-Learning Developer/Specialist plans and administers programs that train learners and enhance their skills and knowledge. Their duties may include, but are not limited to, assessing training needs through surveys, employee interviews, or consultations with managers or instructors. They design and create training manuals, online learning modules, and course materials. They review training materials from multiple sources to select the most appropriate ones. They deliver training to employees using a variety of instructional techniques and assist in evaluating training programs. Responsibilities:
Develop DL and Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) products
Utilize expertise in the Experiential Learning Model (ELM)
Apply the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) process
Use COTS courseware development software such as Articulate Storyline
Create courseware using the latest authoring tools that meet TRADOC standards
Ensure courseware incorporates 508 compliance
Develop storyboards in accordance with courseware design
Create narration and scripts
Convert course material into interactive multimedia
Capture and/or create 2D or 3D graphics for inclusion in IMI products
Convert audio and video into media for inclusion in IMI products
Use software to design, develop, edit, and maintain computer-generated IMI products
Review courseware for standardization and playability on Learning Management Systems
Manage course documentation
Requirements:
Required Skills:
3+ years of training and development experience using Articulate Storyline software or an equivalent mix of education and experience
Strong knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Ability to develop, design, and implement programs
Ability to work as a productive team partner in order to meet multiple project deadlines
