Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized.
Responsibilities
Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure that all kitchen surfaces are kept clean.
Assist in the organization of kitchen supplies and equipment to ensure efficient workflow.
Dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Support kitchen staff by providing clean cooking tools and equipment as needed.
Adhere to food safety standards and proper food handling practices at all times.
Participate in the cleaning of kitchen appliances, floors, and work areas as required.
Experience
Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with culinary practices, catering operations, or banquet services is a plus.
Knowledge of proper food handling techniques and sanitation practices is beneficial.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
